Meet our Principal!

A Dallas native, Edmun has two Master’s Degrees, in Special Education (Texas A&M University in 2012) and in Education Administration (Prairie View A&M in 2010). He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas A&M University in 2008.

Edmun served as Principal of Plummer Elementary School from 2019 to this month. He previously served as an Assistant Principal at Plummer. Hudson said that Plummer Assistant Principal Phyllis Phillips will be the Acting Principal until the district hires a permanent principal.

Prior to arriving at CHISD, Edmun served as an Assistant Principal at a middle school in Cypress Fairbanks ISD, just northwest of Houston, from 2015-2018. He has experience at both the elementary and secondary levels.
