Meet our Principal!
A Dallas native, Edmun has two Master’s Degrees, in Special Education (Texas A&M University in 2012) and in Education Administration (Prairie View A&M in 2010). He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas A&M University in 2008.
Edmun served as Principal of Plummer Elementary School from 2019 to this month. He previously served as an Assistant Principal at Plummer. Hudson said that Plummer Assistant Principal Phyllis Phillips will be the Acting Principal until the district hires a permanent principal.
Prior to arriving at CHISD, Edmun served as an Assistant Principal at a middle school in Cypress Fairbanks ISD, just northwest of Houston, from 2015-2018. He has experience at both the elementary and secondary levels.

Over the holiday break, we were deeply saddened by the loss of our very own Mr. Ian Fried. Mr. Fried touched the lives of so many in our school community with his dedication and passion. He will always be remembered for his unwavering support and the positive impact he had on students and staff alike.

CACHS Remembers Dr. Peggy M. Wilson
We remember and honor Dr. Peggy M. Wilson, the esteemed namesake of The STEM Center, who sadly passed away over the holiday break.
Dr. Wilson was a trailblazer in education and a passionate advocate for STEM, inspiring countless students and educators through her vision and dedication. Her legacy will forever live on in the programs, innovations, and opportunities she championed.
Let us carry forward her mission and commitment to empowering future generations through STEM education. Our thoughts are with her family and all those who were touched by her remarkable work.
